What's actually in the Dog Dad Gifts collection?
Six things, and they pull in fairly different directions: a Carrier Backpack for taking a small dog along, a Bulldog iPhone Case, Broken Window Stickers for the car, a Dachshund Mug, the I'm too Pawsome unisex t-shirt, and a Paw Wooden Coaster. Between them they cover his desk, his car, his kitchen cupboard and the dog itself, which is usually enough range to land on something he'll genuinely use.
I'm buying for someone else — which of these can I choose without knowing his dog's size or his phone model?
The Paw Wooden Coaster and the Dachshund Mug ask nothing of you at all: the coaster comes as a circle or a paw shape, the mug in 11oz or 15oz. The Broken Window Stickers come in fifteen designs, each drawn for a particular breed — Labrador Retriever, French Bulldog, Dachshund and others — so that one only works if you already know his dog. The Carrier Backpack needs the dog's weight, with small at 0-5 kg, medium 5-10 kg and large 10-13 kg, which the product page puts at around 28 lb at the top end. The iPhone Case needs two answers: which of the nineteen handsets he carries, from the iPhone 5 up to the 13 Pro Max, and which of the six case designs you want. The t-shirt needs his size rather than the dog's, in Small to 2X-Large and four colours. If you're shopping blind, the coaster and the mug are the safest picks.
Can I have his dog's name or breed added to any of these?
Not on anything in this collection. Every choice here is a drop-down — colour, size, iPhone model, case design, sticker design, mug size, coaster shape — and not one of them is a box where you type a name. The only engraved item we sell is Custom Name Tags, which sits elsewhere on the site. If you want something breed-specific rather than named, the Dachshund Mug and the Bulldog iPhone Case are drawn for those two in particular, and the stickers come in fifteen breed designs.
It's for a birthday — how fast does it arrive, and what if I've got it wrong?
Orders go out within 24-48 hours, and every shipping service we use includes tracking. Delivery normally takes about seven days, but it can stretch to 45 depending on the country you're in and how long customs takes, so leave yourself room if the date is tight. Shipping is calculated at checkout. If it misses the mark you have 30 days from receipt to send it back unused and in its original packaging — message us with the order number, we reply with a return authorisation number, and approved refunds go to the original payment method in 7-10 business days with shipping deducted. Do read the refund policy first, though: it carves out custom-made and personalised items.
