What does each of these toys actually do?
The Treat Ball is a soft latex ball you fill with kibble or small treats, so your dog has to roll, nudge and chew it to get them out. The Smart Interactive Toy Ball moves on its own — motion sensors set it rolling and vibrating in unpredictable bursts, in a single size around 7.6 cm across, which suits a dog who likes chasing something that won't sit still. The Interactive Football has sewn nylon grab tabs for tug and toss, and it's buoyant, so it works at a lake or the beach as well as in the garden.
Does the Smart Interactive Toy Ball need charging, or does it take batteries?
It takes batteries, and they arrive already fitted with roughly four hours of play in them. There's no charging cable or external power adapter — when the batteries run down you swap in fresh ones. Clean it with a damp cloth rather than rinsing it: the ball is water-resistant, but it isn't meant to be submerged.
Does the Interactive Football arrive inflated, and do I need the pump?
It arrives deflated, so you'll need a pump with a needle adapter before the first game. The pump and needlepoint adapter only come with the Football + Pump set, so choose that one if you haven't got a pump at home. Football Only is the ball on its own, for anyone who already owns a pump that takes a needle. Size is a separate choice either way, 15 cm or 19 cm.
Will these stand up to a dog who's hard on toys?
None of the three is sold as a heavy-chew toy. The Treat Ball is soft, non-toxic latex, made to be gentle on teeth and gums while standing up to daily chewing, and it's described as a good fit for small and medium dogs and keen chewers. The Smart Interactive Toy Ball is made from durable, pet-safe TPR. The football is the one with a stated limit: its soft PU shell is built to protect teeth and jaws, and it isn't designed for dogs who chew hard. Supervise play with all three and put them away afterwards, the way you would with any toy that isn't a dedicated chew.
