How to get something useful out of these reviews
A star average tells you almost nothing on its own. The reviews underneath are where the decision actually gets made, so it is worth a minute of scrolling before you buy.
Read the middle ratings first
Five-star reviews tend to say "love it" and one-star reviews tend to be about something that went wrong in transit. The three and four-star reviews are the honest ones: they usually explain what somebody liked and the one thing they would change. If you only read a handful, read those.

Filter to the product you are considering. An average across the whole shop is far less useful than three reviews of the exact item sitting in your basket.

Check the date. A recent review describes the version of a product being sent out now.

Open the customer photos. Sizing and colour are the two things any product page can get subtly wrong, and a photo taken in someone's kitchen settles both faster than a description can.

Look for a dog like yours. Breed, weight and how hard they pull change the answer completely. A harness that suits a calm whippet tells a bulldog owner very little.
What the reviews here cover
Most of them are about the everyday things: whether a toy survived the first week, whether a bowl actually slowed a fast eater down, whether a collar rubbed. That is the kind of detail worth having before you spend anything, and it is the reason these reviews sit on their own page rather than being buried three scrolls down a product listing.
Adding your own
There is a "Write a review" button at the top of this page. The most helpful reviews are specific ones. "Great product" tells the next person nothing at all, while "my 12 kg spaniel pulls hard and this harness stopped the choking" tells them everything they needed to know. Size, fit, and how something held up after a month of real use are what people are scrolling for.
If something went wrong
A review is not the quickest route to fixing a problem. If an order arrived damaged, does not fit, or simply is not what you expected, get in touch directly and it will be sorted out. Leave the review afterwards if you still want to.
